Countries States Cities Database

Our list of Indian states and cities is derived from the Countries States Cities Database by Darshan Gada and contributors, used under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0 .

We have modified the data: correcting cities to their current official names, adding recognised municipal corporations that the source omits, and recording former and colloquial names so that searching for a city by any of its names finds it. Any errors in those changes are ours, not the source's.
