Cookie Policy

Version 2026-10-02 · Effective 2 October 2026

At 100feets.com, we respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal data. This Cookie Policy sets out how 100feets.com (“100feets.com”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies across our Platform www.100feets.com, and any product, service, or other digital platform that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Platform”). Use of the Platform does not constitute consent to non-essential cookies. Such cookies will only be set after you provide your consent through the Cookie Consent Banner or Cookie Settings.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of text stored by the Platform in your web browser when you visit us, and subsequently sent back to the Platform with each request your browser makes. A cookie file stored in your browser allows 100feets.com, or a third party we work with, to recognise you and make your next visit easier and the Platform more useful to you. Web beacons, tags and scripts may be used in the Platforms or in emails to help us to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. In effect, a cookie acts as an identification marker for our servers- it allows us to serve you more efficiently and to personalise your experience on the Platform, such as remembering your login, saved searches, or shortlisted properties.

Cookies may be “persistent” or “session” cookies:

Persistent cookies help us recognise you as an existing user, so it is easier to return to 100feets.com or use our services without signing in again. Once you sign in, a persistent cookie remains in your browser and is read by 100feets.com when you return to the Platform, so your login (including OTP-based authentication), preferences, and saved activity are remembered.

Session cookies last only for the duration of your current visit or browser session, and are cleared once you close your browser.

2. Why Do We Use Cookies?

100feets.com acts as a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act in respect of the personal data described in this Cookie Policy. Cookies help us enhance the functionality, performance, and usability of our Platform. We use them for the following purposes:

a) to enable and secure the operation of the Platform;

b) to authenticate users and maintain user sessions;

c) to remember user preferences and settings;

d) to understand how users interact with and use the Platform;

e) to analyse and improve the performance, functionality and content of the Platform;

f) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising activities; and

g) where applicable, to support the display, measurement and personalisation of advertisements and promotional content.

100feets.com currently displays its own advertisements, sponsored listings, and promotional content on the Platform. We do not currently work with any third-party advertising network. If we introduce third-party advertisements in future, the display of such advertisements would not, by itself, constitute the use of cookies or other tracking technologies. Where cookies, pixels, SDKs or similar technologies are used in connection with advertising, whether for our own promotional content or, in future, third-party advertisements, such technologies will be described in this Cookie Policy and, where required under applicable law, will be subject to the applicable consent and preference-management mechanism.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We use different types of cookies on our Platform, which can be categorized as follows:

a) Strictly Necessary Cookies

Essential cookies (First Party Cookies) are sometimes called “strictly necessary” as without them we cannot provide many services that you need on the Platform. Login sessions (including OTP-based authentication) like Essential cookies also keep you logged in into a Platform. First Party Cookies is required for integrity, authentication, security, and fraud prevention only. Without them the login functionality would not work.

b) Performance Cookies

These cookies track information about visits to the 100feets.com and partner Platforms so that we can make improvements and report our performance. For example: analyse visitor and user behaviour so as to provide more relevant content or suggest certain activities. They collect information about how visitors use the Platforms, which site the user came from, the number of each user’s visits and how long a user stays on the Platforms.

c) Functional Cookies

During your visit to the Platforms, cookies are used to remember information you have entered or choices you make (such as your username, language or your region) on the Platforms. They also store your preferences when personalizing the Platforms to optimize your use of 100feets.com. These preferences are remembered, through the use of the persistent cookies, and the next time you visit the Platforms you will not have to set them again. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.

d) Targeting or Advertising Cookies

Where enabled, targeting or advertising cookies and similar technologies may be used by 100feets.com and/or third-party advertising or technology providers to support the delivery, measurement and optimisation of advertisements displayed on the Platform.

These technologies may collect information such as the advertisements or promotional content viewed or interacted with, pages visited, approximate location, device or browser information, and other information relating to advertising interactions, to the extent technically required for the relevant advertising or measurement purpose.

Where permitted by the applicable technology and arrangement, third-party advertising providers may use such information to measure advertising performance, prevent fraudulent advertising activity, limit repetitive advertisements, or deliver advertisements that may be more relevant to a User.

Non-essential targeting or advertising cookies will be subject to the applicable cookie preference and consent mechanism. Users may manage or withdraw their preferences for such cookies through the Cookie Settings available on the Platform.

The specific third-party providers and technologies used by 100feets.com will be identified in the relevant cookie preference centre or cookie inventory, as applicable.

4. Third-Party Advertisements and Advertising Technologies

100feets.com currently displays advertisements, sponsored listings, and promotional content that are our own. We do not currently have any third-party advertising network operating on the Platform.

If, in future, we enter into advertising arrangements with third-party advertisers, this section will describe those arrangements and the presence of such an advertisement will not, by itself, constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by 100feets.com of the advertiser, its products, services, claims, or offerings.

Some advertisements may be delivered, measured or supported by third-party advertising providers or technologies. Depending on the advertising arrangement and technology used, such third parties may place or access cookies, pixels, SDKs or similar tracking technologies on or through the Platform, or may receive information relating to the display or interaction with an advertisement.

Where such technologies are used for non-essential purposes and consent is required under applicable law, they will be activated only in accordance with the applicable consent and cookie preference mechanism.

Information collected through advertising technologies may include information relating to advertisements viewed or clicked, device or browser information, approximate location, referring source, and other technical or interaction information, depending on the technology used.

Third-party advertisers and advertising technology providers may have their own privacy policies and terms governing their processing of information. Users should review the applicable policies of such third parties where they interact with or access their services.

Clicking on an advertisement may redirect a User to a third-party website, application or service. Once a User leaves the Platform, the privacy practices, cookies and other tracking technologies of the relevant third party will be governed by that third party’s applicable policies

5. What Information Do Cookies Collect?

Depending on the category of cookie, the information collected on the Platform may include:

  • Device and browser information- such as browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
  • Technical and connection data- such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, and internet service provider.
  • Session and login information- such as your OTP-authenticated session status, so you remain logged in as you move around the Platform.
  • Usage data- such as pages and listings viewed, search filters applied (location, property type, budget, area), shortlisted or saved properties, links clicked, and time spent on the Platform.
  • Navigation source- such as the Platform, campaign, or advertisement you arrived from, and the pages you visit before leaving the Platform.
  • Advertising and promotional interaction data- such as advertisements, sponsored listings or promotional content viewed or clicked, information relating to advertising campaigns or referrals, and information used to measure advertising performance, where applicable.

6. Web Beacons?

100feets.com and its service providers may use web beacons, pixels, tags, scripts, SDKs and similar technologies in connection with the operation, analytics, advertising and measurement of the Platform.

These technologies may be used to understand how Users interact with the Platform, measure the effectiveness of advertising or promotional campaigns, detect fraudulent activity, or support the delivery and measurement of advertisements, where applicable.

Where these technologies are used for non-essential purposes and consent is required under applicable law, their use will be subject to the applicable consent and Cookie Settings mechanism.

You can change your preferences at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the Platform footer, or by adjusting your browser settings. Withdrawing consent through either method stops the relevant non-essential cookies from being set going forward.

12. Updates to this Cookie Policy

Where applicable under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, Data Principals may have rights in relation to their personal data, including rights relating to access to information, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent and grievance redressal.
